What is Spoutcraft?
Spoutcraft, formerly BukkitContrib SP, connects the server and client which makes most of the SpoutPlugin features possible. Some things such as inventory monitoring and the server speed improvements only require the Spout server plugin. Any player can connect to a SpoutPlugin enabled server; they will just miss out on the features it has to offer. Spoutcraft is optional, but using it unlocks the real features behind the SpoutPlugin plugin.

Customizable ignore list and chat highlighting, including regex option.
Customizable shortcuts and plugin key bindings
Settable flight, autorun, and water treading keys
Sign rendering performance improvements
Biome water colors support (watercolor.png usage)
SetRemainingAir/SetMaximumAir render correctly
Configurable chunk caching
Enabling/disabling of visual cheats as set by SpoutPlugin on servers
Optional Zan's-inspired minimap and overview map built-in
In-game public server list and search and filter options
In-game texture pack database and installation
